The African-American Youth Summer Research Academy at SUNY Buffalo State, a 5-week program held in July and August, is designed to engage African-American adolescents in youth-focused action research projects. Participants examined issues and offered solutions that directly impact African-American youth; participated in activities using the latest technology; explored the Buffalo State campus and its other resources; took part in college preparation, admissions, and financial aid workshops; and interacted with undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty.
